On Monday, February 25th our 3 and 4 year old classes enjoyed a field trip to Matthews Playhouse to see Diary of a Worm, a Spider and a Fly. The play was based on the books Diary of a Worm, Diary of a Spider and Diary of a Fly written by Doreen Cronin. The children loved seeing the world from a different point of view! The worm, spider and fly are just like us; they go to school, have friends and live with their parents. The children laughed and danced in their seats while learning that the worm, spider and fly also never take a bath, eat their homework and molt as a way of growing up!
